Our Beloved King

 

Oh! Our beloved king

You came in our thunder dragon kingdom

Being in your arm is our pleasure

And we considered you as our treasure

You are ruling our country peacefully

The way of your thinking

Has brought many changes in our country

You are the great god king.

How fortunate we are

To be born in this lovely country

Because of our culture, custom

And the tradition

Which our lovely kings

Have kept alive today

We have peace and prosperity.

Sun always shine from east

And sun always set towards west

Wedding ceremony will never come

Every year to our country

But this year we shall celebrate it.

We shall pray for

An everlasting peace and prosperity

In the Kingdom of Bhutan

May all the people of our country

Enjoy peace, prosperity and happiness

Under His Majesty’s farsighted,

Benevolent and dynamic leadership.

We wish His Majesty

A long and healthy life

Our fifth king, like the god

Holding the diamond is going to

Have marriage this year

And I want to offer
